As of February 26, 2024, the Ontario Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development (MLITSD) is launching a new Certification Management System (CMS) and will no longer be using SkillsPass to store Chief Prevention Officer Approved
training certificates (WAH and/or JHSC) issued by the Ministry.

During the transition period between February 19 and February 26, 2024, please note the following:

  • Training Providers can contact the JHSC.InquiryLine@ontario.ca or WAH.InquiryLine@ontario.ca for support.
  • JHSC Exemption requests can be directed to JHSC.InquiryLine@ontario.ca
  • Link Account Form requests can be directed to JHSC.InquiryLine@ontario.ca
  • SOSE Applications can be directed to SOSE@ontario.ca.
  • Employer sign-up form related matters can be directed to WAH.InquiryLine@ontario.ca

The Digital Training Passport and Training Provider and Employer Portals will remain available up to February 23, 2024.

Please see details below to support your ongoing business needs up to February 23. You will continue to have access to the following features:

  • SkillsPass Digital Training Passport: to view digital certificates in SkillsPass
  • SkillsPass Employer Portal: for Employers to view Employee training records
  • SkillsPass Training Provider Portal: for Training Providers to access Training Delivery Suite

Please note that your current MLITSD standard records (WAH and/or JHSC) will automatically be transferred to the Ministry’s new CMS by February 26. If you have a reservation for training in a future class (February 26 and beyond), please contact the Training Provider to confirm that booking in advance of your training date.

SkillsPass will remain available following the transition for those who use it for much more than the MLITSD certificates. SkillsPass is a world leader in training records management and is used by thousands of trainers to deliver digital certifications. Training certificates that have been issued in SkillsPass can still be accessed by logging into the same SkillsPass account you’ve always used. You can visit the links below to access your training records or those of your employees by using your SkillsPass credentials.
